Who we are
MyFoodID is run by MY ID Ltd, registered in England and Wales (company number 17498987), 15 Canfield Place, London NW6 3BT. ICO registration ZC268744. Contact: support@myfoodid.co.uk.
What we collect, and why
- Trial sign-ups: your first name, email address and who the app is for. We use them only to run the trial and to tell you when the store apps launch. Lawful basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
- Restaurant and partner enquiries: your name, business, email address and message, so we can reply. Lawful basis: our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries.
- Analytics, only if you accept cookies: Google Analytics records pages visited, how you arrived, your device type and approximate location. It doesn't record your name or anything you type in a form. Lawful basis: your consent.
The website never asks for allergy or health information.
Who handles it for us
- Cloudflare hosts the website.
- Formspree delivers form entries to our inbox. Formspree is based in the USA and handles data under its standard data protection terms.
- Google provides Google Analytics, only after you accept.
How long we keep it
Trial details: until the trial ends and the store apps launch, then up to 12 months unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Enquiries: up to 2 years. Analytics data: up to 14 months.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, or withdraw consent, by emailing support@myfoodid.co.uk. We reply within one month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Cookies
The only cookies are Google Analytics cookies, set only if you choose Accept. You can change your choice at any time with Cookie settings.
